Warm Springs woman dead, husband’s body found

WARM SPRINGS, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was found dead inside her home early Thursday morning and her husband’s body was found Saturday afternoon.

The FBI says it appears 30-year-old Candelaria Rhoan died violently, although an autopsy is pending.

On Sunday, Officials said they found the body of 33-year-old Mark Johnson, Jr.  Police believed he was driving a 1998 maroon, 4-door Volkswagen Passat and was suicidal and armed. The vehicle was located more than 100 feet down a slope below a 50-foot sheer cliff in the Deschutes River Canyon near Lower Bridge Way in Terrebonne.

Both were members of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
