PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A FedEx truck driver was arrested for DUII and having controlled substances when he was pulled over by the Oregon State Police along I-5 early Tuesday morning.
Stephen Augustus Rohan was driving a commercial truck with two trailers when other drivers called OSP to complain he wasn’t staying in his lane and was varying his speed, authorities said in a release.
Troopers pulled him over near the French Prairie Rest Area and arrested him after an initial investigation found he had controlled substances.
The 35-year-old Salem resident also faces charges of reckless driving, reckless endangerment, being a commercial driver in possession of a controlled substance and of alcohol.
The controlled substances were sent to the lab for analysis. Charges are pending on the results.
