PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Oregon State Police is looking for the family of Donald Vernon Delavergne.

Delavergne, 69, died on Tuesday at a campsite off I-84 just west of The Dalles. His death was not suspicious and was likely medically related, police said.

Since his death, authorities have been searching for his next-of-kin but haven’t been successful in locating anyone. Delavergne apparently lived in the Forest Grove over 20 years ago and may have relatives on the East Coast.

OSP asks anyone who recognizes Delavergne to contact Senior Trooper Michael Holloran at 541-296-9646 x 5330. The Oregon State Police was assisted by the Wasco County Sheriff’s office, the Oregon Department of Transportation, the Wasco County District Attorney, and the Wasco County Medical Examiner and Spencer.
