PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman and her daughter escaped injury when a metal bar came loose from another vehicle and impaled itself through their windshield.
The woman was headed west on Highway 26 when the metal bar flew off an eastbound vehicle. It bounced once, flew up and over the median and crashed through the windshield and into the dashboard.
No one was hurt, but the woman and her daughter were “shaken up.”
Beaverton police told KOIN 6 News it appears to “be a freak accident” from a moving vehicle.
