The amateur triathlete swam, biked and hiked his way across the river from Eastbank Esplanade and over to Pioneer Square. The public was invited to join Wheeler to swim, kayak, run, roll, skateboard — whatever, to drop off their ballots.

The deadline for mailing in ballots has passed, but you can find an official drop box in Multnomah County here. The deadline to turn in ballots is May 17 at 8 p.m.
