Wildfire burns 5 acres of private forest land

YAMHILL COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN) — The Oregon Department of Forestry says a wildfire burned in Yamhill County near McMinnville Friday.

Multiple engines responded, including the McMinnville Fire Department.

Officials say the fire burned 5 acres on private forest land.

It’s unclear how the fire started. No one was hurt and no structures were burned.
