Salem police seize 25 pounds of drugs, $466,000

7 people were arrested for various drug charges

SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — Salem police arrested 7 people and served 7 search warrants on May 10 in the conclusion of a 2 month drug investigation.

The warrants were served on vehicle stops in Salem and Beaverton.

Police seized more than 10 pounds of heroin, more than 14 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 2 pounds of cocaine. They also seized more than $466,000 and 6 vehicles during the operation.

The 7 people arrested are Victor Palafox, 23; Vanessa Gonzalez, 22; Guillermo Palafox-Santos, 42; Elsa Garcia-Barrera, 47; Christopher McNaught, 37; Crystal Bingham, 36 and David Bacon, 52. All 7 are Salem residents and are being held in the Marion County Correctional Facility.
