PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Plus sized women from all over will be heading to the Cedar Mill area for the semi-annual Curvy Chic Closet consignment sale this weekend.
The sale, called the Northwest’s original plus-sized clothing event, is aimed toward the 65% of women who identify as plus sized and may not love the selections available in stores.
Curvy Chic Closet organizer Becky Jarvis said most brick and mortar clothing stores only reserve 10-15% of space for plus sized clothing.
“Women that come to this event look for things that fit them, make them feel beautiful and inspire them,” Jarvis said.
The sale is a popular event and is expected to have a line at the door as soon as it opens.
Consignors have been dropping off clothes throughout the week for the public sale April 28- May 1 at 12505 NW Cornell Rd.
