Police: Pair broke into vacant SE Portland home

Both suspects had outstanding arrest warrants, according to police

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were arrested for allegedly breaking into a vacant Southeast Portland home Thursday morning, police said.

Neighbors reported seeing a man running from the home on the 11900 block of SE Oak Street around 7:20 a.m., Portland Police Bureau said.

After setting up a perimeter in the area, officers apprehended 36-year-old Joshua Lee Crocker and took him into custody. They found 30-year-old Amanda Jean French inside the home and reportedly arrested her without incident.

Crocker was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, possession of heroin and methamphetamine. He also had several outstanding arrest warrants.

French was also booked on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and an outstanding arrest warrant.
