PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Aloha man was arrested at Portland International Airport last week for allegedly luring a teenage boy from California to Oregon to have sex.

Washington County Deputies say they started investigating 57-year-old David McHarg in February after they were contacted by a family member. Deputies received information that led them to believe McHarg was communicating online, primarily via Facebook, with underage boys.

Detectives posed online as a 15-year-old boy in California and began chatting with McHarg. He is accused of eventually luring that boy to Portland for sex. When McHarg went to PDX to meet the person he thought was a teenager, he was arrested.

Detectives think there are more victims. People with information or tips should call 503.846.2500.
