PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Meyers Leonard’s dislocated shoulder will require surgery and he will miss the rest of the season, the Portland Trail Blazers announced late Thursday.
The 7-foot-1 power forward dislocated his left shoulder during a recent practice and will have surgery on April 8.
It’s the second time this season Leonard dislocated his left shoulder. The first time was against the Spurs in November, which forced him to miss 7 games.
The Blazers are 37-36 on the season after a 2-point loss to the Clippers on Thursday night, 96-94.
