PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Well it’s another weekend where the rain and wind look to ramp up and dress the coast and valley with branches and limbs from the wind. Sunday will be one of those days, where we will have to at least watch for that as a building low pressure deepens and passes through the PNW tomorrow. We have events in the AM and of course it’s still the weekend so a lot of stuff will be happening. Here is what is going on…
Sunday Morning: Light rain likely through the morning…breezy SW 5-15 mph. Temps in the lower to mid-40s. This should hold for the Shamrock Run…
Sunday Mid-day/Early Afternoon: Heavier and steady rain moves in with wind starting to pick up. Wind Advisory tentatively goes in effect from NOON – 10 PM. Expect the wind to pick up SW 15-25 with gust starting to push the 40s. Temps in the upper 40s/lower 50s
Sunday Evening: Rain continues…Wind Continues
Sunday Night: Wind becomes more gentle/tame, isolated showers likely.
*IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO THE MOUNTAIN
Sunday will be a snowy and windy day up on the mountain. Fresh powder to play in with SW wind 20-35 with gust pushing the 50s. Be careful on the drive with snow and blowing snow likely.
