James Barker was picked up in Portland Friday night after Vancouver police got an arrest warrant. Details on what led to Barker’s arrest have not yet been released.

In May 2015, Sharon Allison was found in her home in the Columbia House Apartments for Seniors on the 100 block of W 24th Street after police conducted a welfare check.

The Clark County medical examiner’s office ruled the 66-year-old died of blunt head trauma. Police found Allison’s body after a friend asked police to do a welfare check.
