’60 Minutes’ focus on Oregon’s Death with Dignity

Dr. Jon LaPook says it's a broad issue of how we will all face death

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — This Sunday, ’60 Minutes’ will put a spotlight on Oregon’s Death with Dignity law.

Dr. Jon LaPook interviews Brittany Maynard’s husband and the doctor who prescribed her the lethal medication to end her life.

Maynard moved to Oregon from California to take advantage of the law.

The episode airs Sunday at 7:00 p.m., right here on KOIN 6.
