PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Shots rang out in the early morning hours of Saturday in the Montavilla neighborhood, prompting a police investigation but turning up no injuries at this time.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting just after 1 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of NE 82nd Avenue.

Evidence of gunfire was found at the scene, according to police on scene. Witnesses told police that immediately after the shooting, several vehicles fled the scene.The Portland Police Bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation, officers said.

Police have not announced any arrests.
