Man’s body found on train tracks in Washougal

WASHOUGAL, Wash. (KOIN) — The body of a man in his 20s was found on the railroad tracks in Washougal Saturday morning. Police say the body was found by a BNSF train crew about 7:00 a.m. between 20th and 24th Streets.

The Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy and determine cause and manner of death. Police do not suspect foul play.

Train traffic was stopped for about three hours while police investigated.
