Man’s body pulled from Willamette River

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 72-year-old man’s body was pulled from the Willamette River on Tuesday morning.

Donald R. Cowne’s body was spotted by the Harbor Master at the River Place Marina, who contacted the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

River Patrol responded and recovered the body. Investigators don’t believe there are signs of foul play but an official cause of death has not been released.
