PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Local author Ian Doescher took the original Star Wars trilogy and turned them into works in the style of William Shakespeare.

Doescher said he got the idea after watching “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” and then attending a Shakespeare festival.

He said the hardest part is writing the stories in iambic pentameter.
