BEAVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A Beaverton man faces sexual abuse charges involving a 13-year-old girl he met along the Portland waterfront, and investigators believe it’s not the first time he’s done this.

Nathan Khingratsaphone was arrested November 6 after the investigation began nearly a month earlier, Beaverton police said. The teen told police she met him in September, and then he offered her marijuana and a ride to his apartment in Beaverton.

Once there, police said, he sexually abused the girl, then gave her some money and took her to a MAX station.

Khingratsaphone is being held at the Washington County Jail for 1st-degree sex abuse, 2nd-degree sodomy and 2nd-degree rape.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Beaverton PD at 503.629.0111. The case number is 15-2790177.
