TUALATIN, Ore. (KOIN) — A calf and 15 chickens died when fire swept through a Tualatin barn used primarily for children’s tours.

The fire at Lee Farms, 21975 SW 65th Avenue, was spotted around 1 a.m. by a passerby. When TVF&R firefighters arrived, the barn was fully engulfed in flames, but they managed to keep it from spreading.

Investigators said a heat lamp likely ignited combustibles, causing more than $10,000 in damage. No person was hurt.
