LEBANON, Ore. (KOIN) — A semi-truck carrying livestock overturned in Lebanon Saturday afternoon, killing some of the sheep on board.

Officials with the Lebanon Fire District said the crash happened at 2nd and Tanget Streets, in front of the Lebanon Justice Center.

The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt and started getting the sheep off the trailer and into another one.

Firefighters started cleaning up fuel and oil, which was leaking from the truck.

Tanget Street was closed for several hours for the cleanup.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.
