PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — An American Medical Response (AMR) ambulance involved in a crash flipped on its side Wednesday morning just north of the on ramp from the Morrison Bridge onto I-5.

A spokesperson with Portland Fire & Rescue told KOIN 6 News that two patients were transported to the hospital after the crash including the person who was being transported in the ambulance and a paramedic.

Both sustained minor injuries.

AMR said weather was likely a factor in the crash. Dense fog made visibility difficult.

KOIN 6 News will have more details throughout the morning.
