PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A local coin shop was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon, and now authorities are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to Coins on the Blvd at 16210 SE McLoughlin Blvd. on reports of a robbery around 3:20 p.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.

The owner of the shop told 911 dispatchers a man with a handgun came into his business and took items.

The suspect is described as a man with a medium build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with an Under Armor logo, and a dark baseball cap with a sticker on the bill. He reportedly had a black mask covering his face at the time of the robbery.

He was last seen leaving the shop on foot headed towards SE Vineyard Road.
