PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Officials are warning beach-goers about a great white shark swimming close to the shore in Clatsop County.
Marine experts say they’ve responded to four animals who have died from large shark bites in the last few weeks.
Two seals, a sea lion and a dolphin were found on beaches up and down Clatsop County. All were killed with one large bite that likely came from a great white shark or possibly a seven gill shark.
Experts are warning surfers not to go out at dawn or dusk.
