Man charged with killing mother at Albany home

Police haven't said what led to the killing

ALBANY, Ore. (AP) – Police arrested a 27-year-old man accused of fatally shooting his mother at the home they shared in Albany, Oregon.

Albany Police Lt. Casey Dorland says the son called police to the home at about 6 p.m. Thursday.

According to Dorland, Hank Curtis Davis surrendered when police arrived. Inside the home, 61-year-old Patricia Davis was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Hank Davis was booked into the Linn County Jail on a murder charge.
