WOODBURN, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was cited for theft and released after she admitted taking $8,000 from the Mid Valley Youth Baseball Association.

Julia Harmon was arrested September 9, Woodburn police said, after she confessed to the crime. The organization reported the money was missing, prompting the investigation.

The 47-year-old woman was the treasurer, and the thefts happened between January and August this year.
