PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The driver of a pickup that crashed into a Thai restaurant and then a ramp of the Morrison Bridge faces 10 charges, including DUII.

Jeff William Sorsdahl allegedly crashed into E-San Thai, 133 SW 2nd Avenue at Pine, shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Portland police officer having dinner at the restaurant, chased him on foot and on bicycle as he called for more officers.

The pickup was spotted on the Morrison Bridge. Sorsdahl allegedly drove down the SE Water Avenue ramp and crashed.

He was arrested quickly and taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A patron at the restaurant was also taken to a hospital for treatment.

Along with DUII, the 26-year-old Sorsdahl faces 4 counts of hit-and-run, 3 counts of reckless endangerment, reckless driving and attempt to elude.
