Salem stabbing suspect arrested

The stabbing victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities arrested a 20-year-old stabbing suspect who was considered armed and dangerous.

Carlos Miguel Martin was reportedly involved in a stabbing on the 4000 block of NE Lancaster Drive on Thursday, Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

The 31-year-old victim in Thursday’s stabbing was taken to Salem hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to deputies, Martin and the victim know each other.

Authorities are still working to determine what charges will be filed against Martin.
