Four cats missing after Happy Valley fire

HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. (KOIN 6) – Crews have put out a residential fire in the 10100 block of Southeast 99th Drive.

The fire was reported at 4:44 a.m. on Thursday, according to a dispatcher with Clackamas County.

There have been no reports of any injuries. A fire spokesperson tells KOIN 6 News that the family inside the home was able to get out safely; however, four cats are missing. The family was able to get one dog and one of their cats out safely.

Firefighters could be seen bringing out school supplies and family photos to the home’s residence.

A cause has not been determined, but an investigation is underway.

There is extensive damage to the garage.
