PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — When 12-year-old Hayden Rossignol went to Cannon Beach and took a picture, he probably didn’t think it would end up being displayed in Vice President Joe Biden’s residence.

But it did.

Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, partnered with National Geographic Kids and selected 10 photographs from around the countyr to put on a rotating display every month.

“I love the beach and love taking pictures when I’m there,” said Hayden, a 6th grader in Portland.

The young photographers also received a digitial VP badge for their Nat Geo Kids My Shot page.
