PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 75-year-old Stayton woman was killed in a two vehicle crash in Yamhill County on Thursday.
Marion Ellis was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash on Hwy 153 at milepost 13. Officials said Ellis was travelling as a passenger in a 2015 Toyota Prius driven by 74-year-old Arlie Ellis when a 1999 Subaru Legacy driven by 58-year-old Richard Mafit crossed over the center line and the cars collided head on.
Richard Mafit and Arlie Ellis were seriously injured and transported to the hospital.
Officials are continuing their investigation.
