Kyle Maki gets crafty at SCRAP PDX

If you’re looking to donate some crafty materials or if you’re on the hunt for some scrap-like activities for the kids, there is a local business in Portland that can fulfill both those needs. SCRAP PDX diverts over 140 tons of material every year, where it ends up either on their shelves for sale or part of the many educational programs they offer throughout the year. This non-profit’s mission is to “inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.” For a list of their many programs, be sure to visit their website for additional information.
