Motorcyclist loses leg in collision on Hwy. 47

The man's motorcycle collided with a pickup truck near Forest Grove Friday night.

FOREST GROVE, Ore. (KOIN) — A Beaverton man lost part of his lower leg after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck near Forest Grove Friday night.

According to Oregon State Police, Tarik Alfadli failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Hwy. 47 and Scoggins Valley Rd. The 22-year-old was operating a 1988 Honda Motorcycle at the time, which collided with a Ford F350 pickup.

Alfadli was thrown from the motorcycle and airlifted to a hospital. Forest Grove Fire told KOIN 6 News Alfadli lost consciousness and part of his leg.

The driver of the pickup wasn’t hurt.
