The amateur bike racer is back on two wheels

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The 23-year-old bicyclist who lost his leg when he was hit by a truck is back on a bike.

Alistair Corkett is an avid cyclist and vowed to get back on a bike just days after the crash.

Corkett was injured on May 10 at the intersection of SE 26th Ave. and SE Powell Blvd. New turn signals have since been installed at the intersection.
