ALBANY, Ore. (AP) – Police are looking for a suspect who used a skimming device to steal money from members of an Albany credit union.

Albany police Capt. Eric Carter says surveillance video from late May shows a man inserting the device into an ATM machine during the morning and then removing it at night. He says the device can capture ATM card information and personal identification numbers.

Carter said Tuesday that police have taken 40 reports from credit union members who found unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling about $20,000.

The withdrawals primarily came from the Portland area. Others unauthorized transactions were from Medford and California.
