EUGENE, Ore. (KOIN) — A man and his three children, missing in Lane County for about 24 hours, were found safe Monday morning.

Todd Michael Monrean and his three young children left on Sunday morning for a hike near Blue Lake off Hwy 58 between Oakridge and Hwy 97.

They were traveling in a gray/blue 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan and were found by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office officers near Blue Lake Trailhead.

The minivan broke down between Oakridge and US-97, officials said. The van was restarted and the family is on their way home.
