GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN 6) – Three men were arrested after they allegedly beat a person who called 911 about them, and then were themselves attacked by another group of people.

Darren Mualia, 20, Clayton Phillip, 23 and Jed Kerman, 29, were all booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center Monday morning after a fight in the 1400 block of NE 181st.

Police said a bystander called 911 to report the men being loud and causing problems. Gresham PD spokesperson Lt. Claudio Grandjean said the 3 men got upset with the person who called 911 “so they beat that person.”

Police said another group got angry at the attackers and, before police arrived, started a fight with the 3 aggressors. When officers arrived, the two groups were fighting.

At least 15 units responded, including an ambulance, authorities said.

No one was seriously injured, police said.
