Man, 32, wanted for abducting, assaulting girlfriend

His girlfriend is now safe and receiving medical care

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating a 32-year-old man wanted for allegedly abducting and assaulting his girlfriend, authorities said.

David Santiago Pompa is described as a Hispanic man, 5-feet-4-inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe Pompa was armed with a large knife and may have been driving a dark green 1997 Acura TL 4-door. He also goes by the names Santiago Jose Pompa and James Joseph Sebastian, officials said.

His girlfriend is now safe and receiving medical care for non-life-threatening injuries, Portland Police Bureau said.

Pompa has an unrelated felony warrant for his arrest and faces numerous other charges.

Anyone who sees him or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
