PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 23-year-old man was arrested Friday for his role in a north Portland shooting.

On Wednesday, Portland Police received a call from a woman who said her grandson had been shot in the arm.  A family member took 20-year-old Robert Bradford to the hospital, from the house on North Willis Blvd.  Portland Police Sergeant Pete Simpson says the actual shooting happened near North Portsmouth Ave. and Bowdoin St.  He says people inside two moving vehicles were shooting at each other.

Simpson says investigators used witness information to arrest 23-year-old Marcel Daniel Jr.  Daniel and Bradford were in the same vehicle during the shooting. That vehicle has been recovered.  The second vehicle in the shooting has yet to be identified.

Daniel is charged with Attempted Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon, among other things.  He will make his first court appearance Tuesday.
