CLACKAMAS CO., Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland woman is in serious condition after she was hit by a car Monday afternoon while crossing the street in Clackamas County, authorities said.

Christine Harbacheck, 54, was in a crosswalk on 82nd Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m. when an SUV crashed into her, Oregon State Police said.

Harbacheck suffered possible head trauma and was transported to Oregon Health Sciences Hospital. She is currently listed in critical condition.

The driver of the SUV, 43-year-old Justin Vu, was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
