HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. (KOIN) — After a lengthy investigation, a 52-year-old man was arraigned Wednesdy for allegedly installing wireless cameras in the master bathroom of his Happy Valley home.
The investigation into Kurt Higgins began in July 2014 when the cameras were found by two 18-year-old women while they were house-sitting for him.
The case took a while to investigate because search warrants were required for the technology involved and data stored on cloud services. Authorities said once they were able to analyze the data, Higgins was set for arraignment.
Higgins faces 3 counts of attempted invasion of personal privacy. He was booked and released on his own recognizance.
