VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — Police are looking for two suspects accused of stealing a Vancouver shop owner’s purse that had over $2,000 cash inside, authorities said.

On Monday, an unknown man and woman visited Vancouver Tire on E. Mill Plain Blvd. and took a purse that belonged to one of the owners, Vancouver Police Dept. said. The purse reportedly contained the woman’s identification, credit cards and over $2,000 in cash.

The pair were captured on surveillance cameras, along with a partial image of the car they were driving. The vehicle appears to be a ’92-’98 baby blue Volkswagen Jetta.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects is asked to call Vancouver PD and reference case number 15-7192.
