TIGARD, Ore. (AP) — Police in the Portland suburb of Tigard say the ex-wife of a man fatally shot in front of her condo in January has been arrested, charged with unlawfully buying ammunition before the shooting.

The Oregonian reports that Lauren Nguyen was arrested Thursday on a federal warrant. Court records show she was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition.

Her boyfriend, Orlando Lee Pouncey, has been charged with murder in the Jan. 30 death of Jerry Nguyen.

Tigard police spokesman Jim Wolf says video surveillance captured the woman buying the ammunition before the shooting. He wasn’t sure when investigators learned about it. The newspaper says Wolf wouldn’t explicitly say whether the ammunition was the same as that used in the shooting.
