PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Ken Boddie got confused.

The KOIN 6 News anchor was talking with co-anchor Jenny Hansson and meteorologist Sally Showman about a story they were reporting.

A college student designed ice cream flavors for women during PMS. Flavors include “I’m Dying Strawberry Swirl,”  “Don’t Come Near Me Rocky Road,” and “I Need Some More Mint Chocolate Chip.”

When the camera came back to the anchors, Ken said, “We cannot give you any first hand information on this because none of you are near that, right?”

Both Jenny and Sally broke out laughing. Jenny said, “It’s not menopause ice cream, Ken.”

“OK, menopause, as opposed to PMS,” he said. “I don’t have either.”

Sally then tried to do the weather.
