PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Law enforcement throughout Washington and Oregon are looking for a suspected killer who may be in Oregon.

Bellevue Police Officer Seth Tyler, a police spokesperson, said Song Wang, 30, should be considered armed and dangerous. The victim’s body was found inside an apartment complex March 31 after firefighters were dispatched to the Avalon Meydenbauer Apartments in Bellevue to investigate reports of a “water flow” fire alarm, indicating that a fire sprinkler had been activated.

When firefighters entered an apartment unit on the sixth floor they located a small fire and discovered a woman’s body, police said. She was the victim of homicidal violence, police said. They have not released her name.

Wang is described as an Asian male with black hair. He is about 5-feet-8 and about 160 pounds, according to police.

Anyone who sees Wang is urged not to contact him and instead call 911. Police have not said why they believe Wang may be in Oregon, and have not said if there have been any confirmed sightings.
