12-year-old briefly missing at Larch Mountain

Boy went missing around 4:30 p.m., found around 5:15 p.m.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 12-year-old became separated from his parents at Larch Mountain near the snow gate, and search-and-rescue crews were activated to look for him.

The boy went missing around 4:30 p.m, officials said, but was found around 5:15 p.m. The boy was not injured and came out near Multnomah Falls, officials said.
