PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Buddy Guy, Gregg Allman and Macy Gray are among the musical stars locked in for the 28th annual Waterfront Blues Festival.

The music fest is set for July 2-5 at Waterfront Park in downtown Portland, and  KOIN 6 is the proud television sponsor for the annual Oregon Food Bank fundraiser.

Others in the lineup include Galactic, Allen Toussaint, Charmaine Neville, Phil and Dave Alvin, The Paladins, Devon Allman and Chubby Carrier.

About 100 blues acts will play on four stages over the holiday weekend in the single biggest fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank.

“We work year-round to secure these amazing acts in order to raise funds for hunger relief in Oregon and Clark County, Washington,”  the food bank’s Laura Golino de Lovato said in a statement.

Since the festival’s first year in 1988, about $10 million and 815 tons of food have been raised for the Oregon Food Bank.

Festival passes will be available to the public in mid-April. More acts will be announced soon.
