Two arrested in Wood Village stabbing case

Investigators believe there are two additional suspects on the loose

WOOD VILLAGE, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Two people were arrested Thursday in connection with stabbings that happened in Wood Village a day earlier, Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said.

A passerby called 911 after they saw two people being stabbed in the area of Northeast Park Lane and Wood Village Boulevard, officials said.

On Thursday, investigators located and arrested 26-year-old Brandy Howe and 23-year-old Eduardo Espinoza Hernandez in Gresham. Howe was booked for second degree assault and Hernandez was arrested on a detainer.

One of the victims suffered multiple stab wounds and another was beaten with a bat.

Investigators believe there are two additional suspects on the loose. They are described as Hispanic men.
