Missing boy, 7, found safe in Happy Valley

Hunter Leiby allegedly walked away from his home Sunday

HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Clackamas County Sheriffs Deputies successfully located a 7-year-old boy who went missing in Happy Valley Sunday, officials said.

Hunter Leiby, 7, walked away from his babysitter’s apartment shortly before 3:30 p.m., sheriffs said. Leiby was described as 4-feet-tall, 50 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with a school name on the first, black pants and navy blue high-top shoes. He was possibly carrying a black pull-string backpack.

The boy was found unharmed at a nearby school and was reunited with his mother.
