FARMINGTON, Ore. (AP) – Witnesses told Washington County sheriff’s deputies a motorcycle sped away from a four-way stop in Farmington, lost control on a curve and slid on its side down the roadway.

The crash Tuesday evening killed the rider, 67-year-old Steven D. Willford of Aloha, whose body was found under the motorcycle on the shoulder of the road.

Deputies found his 2008 Triumph off the left side of SW River Road shortly after 7 p.m, officials said.
